So since my last post about ‘My Daily Facial Regimen‘, things have changed. I no longer use the Pond’s Deep Cleanser or Dry Skin Cream. I couldn’t quite put my finger on if it were the cleanser or the cream that was making my face super oily, so I just decided to stop using both! Then I started using Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser because of the great reviews that I’d received from many of my friends that use it and was recommended to them by their dermatologist. Well, that product decided to break my skin out or maybe that was from stress? O_o lol! Which ever it were, I decided to throw that Cetaphil in the trash!
Now, on to my latest daily facial regimen…I think I may have found something I may stick with!
Up&Up (Target Brand) Facial Buff Sponges: First and foremost, these are my main tools when washing my face. I like how they deeply cleanse, yet lightly exfoliate on a daily. When I need a good scrubbing, I’ll put a little force behind wiping my face. But on a regular, I just use these to lather up my cleanser and spread it evenly over my face. I’ll even run it across my lips to wipe away any dead skin that I may have..
MAC Cremewash: This cleanser is everything to me! Ok, I have only been using it for the past month and already I see a difference in my skin. It’s smoother and not as dry as usual. I would say that I have not experienced a breakout, but maybe I’ve been less stressful lately lol! But anyway, I wash my face with this once in the morning and at night to wash away any dirt and build-up…
MAC Complete Comfort Cream & MAC Lip Conditioner: Thanks to Arjaunjubri for introducing me to this moisturizer! When I tell you it is so soft and sheer when you put it on…it will feel like nothing is on your face! The outcome is having such smooth skin…I love it. And of course my lip conditioner that I put on every night, so that my lips can moisturize while I sleep 🙂
From time to time I use other products also. I’m not saying these products will satisfy everyone…but they sure do work for me!
You can find these items at your local Target and MAC Cosmetics counter.
Definitely going to get those buff sponges. My skin is acne prone and I need a better moisturizer with sunscreen that won’t clog my pores. If you hear of any moisturizer like that, let me know!
I just got those facial sponges and I’m still unsure. They seemed a little too rough. Any tips?
