My mom has always been the best seamstress, she’s been known to recreate some of the best red carpet runway pieces. This particular dress was a remake of the Balmain mini that Beyonce wore to the 2009 BET Awards. The original piece was a super long vintage silk and sequin dress that I found at a Detroit Thrift Store for about $10.
