Not much of a new trend, it’s been around for decades! Floppy hats have transitioned from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and now into the present day. A vintage style piece made modern, we all know how fashion repeats! The floppy hat can be worn so many different ways. No longer just rocked on the beach to shield and protect us from the sun, it is now a fun accessory to add while out running errands or dressed up for an evening event. The staple piece for some such as Rachel Zoe and Vanessa Hudgens, I can honestly see why they love them so much! They are my new obsession!
In the past two weeks I’ve purchased two. When the Missoni collection hit Target stores, I was overjoyed when I got my hands on the floppy hat! Only to return days later (yes, I am addicted to Target lol) and find yet another one…in a plum burgundy shade *dies* I just couldn’t leave it behind! It was only $20! So funny how we always find excuses to spend money while shopping 🙂
