Allow me to introduce you all to one of my nearest and dearest tools that I own, my edge brush. Yes, a brush made specifically for your edges. I purchased this brush back in 2010 during a vacation in Miami. I was having a really hard time with the humidity and my natural hair, so I stopped by a CVS in hopes of finding a brush just to help lay my hair down a bit better than my paddle brush. And there it was, an edge brush! Narrow enough to fit inside of styling jars, and slim enough to perfectly style and mold your edges.
I first mentioned this brush three years ago during my first What’s In My Glam Tote video. I didn’t deeply express my love for this brush, but it’s been four years since I purchased it and it is still one of the first things that I grab when styling my hair. Since I’ve been paying close attention to my edges by using the SheaMoisture JBCO Strengthen Growth & Restore Edge Treatment, I also noticed how raggedy and broke down my brush is lol!
Ever since I purchased the brush, I’ve been on the hunt to find a back up. I was starting to think that it was pure luck that I found it that day, or maybe it was only offered in Miami. I just can’t understand why it’s so hard to find! Well since I’ve rocked mine until the wheels fell off (literally my handle is broken lol), I had to hit up my best friend Google and try my luck!
