I’ve always shared my natural hair journey with you guys over the years. The good, the bad and the ugly. Well recently I received a much needed haircut (I’ll tell you more about that later), and you I’m currently going through a rough patch (no pun intended) of trying to get my mane back to it’s healthy, thick and luxurious ways. From my past success of gaining the strength of my hair back, I found that what works best for me is to just keep my hands out of my hair. Keeping my hair moisturized and rocking a protective style always helps me keep my natural hair in great condition. I know the steps that I need to take and I’m ready to conquer this battle once again!
On this particular wash day, I’m testing out the Beautiful Textures haircare line. I’ve heard so many great things about these products and with the emphasis on “moisture”, “rapid repair” and “intense moisture”, it sounds like these products have what my hair has been looking for! I received the Moisture Butter Whipped Curl Creme, Rapid Repair Deep Conditioner and Curl Definer Mousse. Since I’m uber concerned with keeping my natural hair in tip-top shape, I have to be sure to keep my protective style on point as well lol! I washed and styled using these three products on both my natural hair and my Same Girl Different Hair Deep Wave unit, and these were the amazing results!
I applied the Rapid Repair Deep Conditioner to my unit and let it condition over night, while applying it to my natural hair for an hour using a plastic cap. It left both my extensions and natural hair feeling very soft, hydrated and I can’t forget to mention how great it smells!

I must say that the Moisture Butter Whipped Curl Creme will be my new best friend! Since I opted to wear a protective style, it’s a must that I keep my hair moisturized underneath. I applied the butter while blow drying my natural hair, thoroughly combed it through my hair before braid my hair up for protection. But, my favorite step has been applying it to my edges! We all know how important it is to keep our edges healthy (mine needs a little extra TLC lol), so I will definitely be using this daily to keep them hydrated. I used the butter on my unit to lock in as much moisture as possible.
