My inbox has been slammed with “Ask Bri” Birthday Looks, so I decided to take two of my favorite created looks and share them as inspiration for anyone who’s looking to get fabulous for their big day!
For my first requested look, I wanted to keep it classic by incorporating black & White pieces. The black/white combination is one of the most popular trends for this Spring. I didn’t want my birthday girl to get lost in the crowd so, I decide to throw a little metallic purple clutch into the mix. By adding in a few trendy accessories; like a three finger ring and ID necklace, you’re able to add some flare to the monochromatic look. Then I wanted to top it all off with a bold mauve lip, to make your birthday a night to remember!
Since I know for many of us, wearing an over the top birthday dress is usually the uniform to wear on our birthday. I decided to remix the whole “Birthday Dress” look for my next request. I wanted to start out with crisp white dress and just build the rest of the look from there. By starting off your look with a neutral color, you’re able to add in tons of color to your look. Floral is really big this season, you can’t walk into a store without seeing loads of it everywhere! So I added a floral fitted blazer as the “stand out” piece. Being that the floral blazer isn’t super bright, I decided to go with an aqua pump to bring out more of the color in the blazer. I kept the accessories simple with a pair of vintage frames and gold plated necklace. Then I added in an oxblood lip stain to bring on the drama!!
