Ok, I did it. I joined the Clarisonic Mia movement. I’d heard so much about it, saw the commercials and read the reviews. I can honestly say that I put a little pep in my step to purchase ONLY because during my last facial she suggested that I get one. She gave me the complete rundown on how it cleans your face 2x better than a wash cloth and blah blah blah. Hey, it doesn’t take much to impress me…especially when it comes to skincare!
During the madness of Black Friday I stumbled upon a deal…or at least they made me feel like it was one lol At a regular price of $125, the “special price” during the holiday season is $99. Pretty good, right? Immediately rushed home, plugged my new gadget up and couldn’t wait to wash my face the next day.
Two days later without a doubt in my mind, I immediately noticed a difference. I recently had an outbreak/allergic reaction to something and was extremely uptight about it. I don’t have sensitive skin at all, not allergic to anything (or so I thought) and couldn’t figure out what to do about it besides wash my face day & night with my MAC Cremewash. Well after using the Mia for 3 days, that rough patch began to soften up and appeared to be fading away! Bingo!
What I didn’t know about was the Olay ProX. After rejoicing with my bff Chrissy about how much I love the Mia, she told me how she uses the Olay ProX, it does the same exact thing as the Clarisonic and how she only paid $40 for it. What?! I wish I’d known a few weeks ago and I would’ve saved a hot 50 bucks! Yall know I’m always down to save a few dollars!
Well I’m here to spill the tea for those of you who didn’t know. If the Clarisonic Mia is not in your budget, the Olay ProX is a great substitute that provides the same results. You can find the ProX at your local Target…happy washing!
Happy to read this! I asked for a Mia for Christmas and received an Olay ProX instead. (I know I sound like I’m 12 years old) & I’m very happy with it! I’ve even been getting compliments from friends on the overall glow of my skin. I’ve found that using a gentle cleanser is better to use vs. an exfoliating scrub because it isn’t too harsh on your skin.
I have been hearing about the Mia but I just thought the price was crazy. I have clear skin so I was like no. But to know the Olay is only $40 has peaked my interest. Thanks.

I definitely love my clarisonic. But if I had to spend myown money I would buy one of the cheaper ones. So many companies make them now.
