Kanye West, already a very prominent producer and rapper, can now add another tagline to his already storied career – fashion designer! That’s right, Mr. West has always had a knack for fashion and this past weekend during Paris Fashion Week, he debuted his Spring/Summer 2012 women’s line.
‘DW’ is a very explosive collection that offers up some very fashion forward and heavenly inspired pieces. Headlining the collection was a nude bandage mummy dress, deep plunging necklines and a galore of furs. The visionary kept it clean with mostly neutrals and pearly whites, interjecting a few pops of color here and there.
Did I mention the footwork on the catwalk were cray?! Kanye teamed up with none other than Giuseppe Zanotti, to design killer ankle wrap and warrior cuff sandals. And those side-swept parts/bangs that the models wore were EVERYTHING!
In conclusion, Kanye brought his A-game to Paris Fashion Week…it was everything we expected and more! Kanye West is truly an inspiration in every aspect. We’ve seen him grow from Ralph Lauren Polo t-shirts and Louis Vuitton backpacks, to debuting his own couture line in Paris! DREAM BIG!
